Locs are that tricky as they may seem when it comes to dying..... i have dyed my hair several times... but of course to achieve maximum brightness locs must be bleached first... i NEVER go to a professional for my locs.. TOO EXPENSIVE AND POINTLESS!!! Currently im rocking a RASPBERRY TWIST made by Adore in the front of my head. I must say IM LOVIN IT!

Wow u really do love purple! lol I don't have locs but I did dye my hair purple once. Well, it was a rinse. Granted I was like 14 but it came out cute. It was not super purple but it had a purple glow in the light. I loved it for the six months or so that I tried it.

LOL, a friend of mine told me about a time her friend tried to dye her locs and it turned a grey-ish colour. yours didn't turn out too bad but it really is one of the harder colours to use on loc'd hair.

i couldn't agree more about leaving it to the pros (at least until you can really read up on how the process is done right).
