Loc'd love

Now I'm a single lady (no, I'm not throwing my hands up, lol) and I should really keep my options open. You know...you can't just want ONE type of man. Right? And I'm trying. However, I can't help but desire a kind of love like this...

OMG!!!!!!!!! Look how long his locs are. And look how beautiful hers are. *tilts head to the side and sighs* I don't know what it is, but very rarely do I see loc'd men with loc'd women. And so with my fascination of locs, when I see this, I'm like...*mouth open* Such beauty.

Hey loc'd ladies...do you find yourself more attracted to men with locs or is your attraction to them the same as with other men? As for me...my head usually doesn't turn UNLESS he has locs.

I know, I know. It's so sad. I can't help it! And I was like this before I had my own locs. Sheesh!

I got this photo from Naturally Beautiful Hair blog. Do y'all have her on your RSS reader? She posts the best natural hair photos around. Loves it!

ETA: Check out Ms. Honey Dip and her hubby's locs here. Beautiful!!

No shade to other men, but there is just something about a loc'd man that's . . . just . . . *looks off into distance . . . loses train of thought*

Funny. I think I was more attracted to men with locs before I got mine. Now, the thought of twice as many hair products in the bathroom scares me!

i'm not necessarily attracted to men who have locs, but it is always nice to see a guy with a nice set of them.

My husband has had locks for 13 years. He inspired me to start my locks- I am 2 months in. I take care of his hair and it grows like wildflower. He recently chopped it down so because it was soooo long- like to the back of his knees long and it would get in the way. We have a 7 month old and he has a 6 year old son also so you know it is busy in my house. Before he cut it, it would take hours to dry and he would only wash it like 1 a month because it was soo long and time consuming. He is rasta, and was hesitate at first but now he loves his length- it is a little below his shoulders. He washes it all the time and it dries quick.

So yes, I love me a man with locks, just not long ones that stop on the floor. And for some reason I am not a fan of cultured locks on men, I like them freeforming. Just my opinion though.

Yes, I am the same way....my head does not turn UNLESS the brotha has locs.....Ive only been loced for 6 months but my fascination and admiration for locs has been since I was a young girl.... I really do appericate a man with locs. Now that I am loced, its the fascination has grown even more. I now have noticed that I adore the freeform look more than the manicured look. Its something about the rasta(freeform) locs that gives a brotha a sexy, untamed look about himself. I often wonder though why it is that you rarely see loced couples. Now that Im loced...Im on a quest.....lol. Im manifesting a loced love in my life....

I hear what yall are saying but you can always find you a 'regular' dude who loves your hair and inspire him to lock. My husband had a short haircut when we met but less than 6 months after dating, he wanted his hair like mine. I've been maintaining them for him ever since. ;)
